Mythically born from Medusa’s blood turned to stone, for centuries coral has held place of honor in every Wunderkammer in the courts of Europe – the stunning one of the Gonzagas of Mantova among others – collections of wonders, blending a love of legends and scientific curiosity.
In celebration of a reimagined antiquity, made of myth and a cult of beauty, Les First Light creates a sumptuous light sculpture: ceramic coral branches glow on top of jewel-toned amphorae, immersed in a bright halo. Design and Italian crafting tradition combine with state-of-the-art LED technology, operated through an especially developed touch system.
Description
This sumptuous table-top lamp belongs to the Coralli collection, entirely hand-crafted from superior Nove ceramic (Vicenza, Italy). The amphora-shaped pedestal offers an intriguing contrast to the charmingly real-looking ceramic coral branch. The unique design goes together with a high-tech touch system that switches and adjusts the light with a simple, delicate gesture.
